This small luxury vacation home is located directly on the beach in Newport Beach, CA. The windows and doors are essential to the overall design of the home, and they provide the perfect balance between form and function. Each window and door is designed to enhance the waterfront view from inside the home while simultaneously ensuring proper ventilation throughout. A six panel fold-slide door connects the main room to the patio in dramatic fashion, while a four panel fold-slide door achieves a similar affect on the second floor terrace. Tilt-turn windows are located throughout the house, providing draft-free ventilation in every room. Finally, a small, round fixed unit is perhaps the most dramatic window in the home.
