MONTLAKE STUDIO
This contemporary studio was built adjacent to the owner’s home as a quiet sanctuary to engage in creative activities. A wall of tilt-turn doors with fixed clerestory transoms floods the main room with natural light, keeping the space glowing during the cool winter months while providing draft-free ventilation during the warm summer months. The doors are the focal point of the structure, and yield the perfect blend of form and function.
